Amy Frascella was JLR’s Materiality Director with more than 10 years of experience at Jaguar Land Rover.

She led the Colour & Material organisations for JLR Design's four iconic brands - Range Rover, Discovery, Defender, and Jaguar. In addition to her teams in Design, Amy conceived and built the newly formed Matter Incubator in the Strategy & Sustainability Chapter. In her expanded role, Amy connected creativity, strategy, and business to enable her teams to design thought-provoking concepts that would prepare JLR for the future.

Prior to taking on her roles at JLR, Amy held Design roles at Hyundai & Kia Motors and Seiren Co. Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, both from North Carolina State University. With continued studies from Art Center College of Design in California.

Amy has been personally recognised by the industry with the Automotive News Rising Star Award in 2019 and more recently in 2022 with teams she built and led: Range Rover & Defender CMF Design teams, selected by Design peers as the best in industry. As a recognised expert Amy is now Consulting in the Automotive Design industry as well as other analogous Design industries.
